Google Assistant Update Started Rolling Out To All Android Devices Running on Marshmallow and Nougat – LG G6 Will Be First Smartphone Installing Google Assistant After Pixel

Google making ensure that the availability of its Google Assistant can be expanded on other Android devices too. Google Assistant was exactly launched last year only on its own branded Pixel Smartphone. Later it also started making available on Google Home, Google Allo and Android Wear. As per the recent update, Google also announced rolling it out on all Android devices running Marshmallow and above. Google Assistant update will be available on all eligible devices soon.

Users will get the update notification on their eligible devices, notification will be made for Google app – which the Google Assistant is a part of. Once update is installed, users can access on new voice interface and avail its advanced AI for performing various tasks.

The latest announcement makes confirmed that LG G6 is the first Smartphone will be pre-installed with Google Assistant. A giant sized company Google is also actively working with other OEMs in order to ensure the arrival of Assistant on other phones using Android OS. They want to make sure that its coming to all devices running on Marshmallow and Nougat.

It will be started rolling out from today and might be taking couple of weeks before it makes available on each and every eligible device. The only eligibility criteria is a device must be running on Anroid Marshmallow and above. This new Assistant update on Marshmallow and Nougat will be made available to all English-language users in Australia, United States of America, Canada, U.K. , India and Germany for German speaks English. Google developers promises about also updating other languages but not specified the exact time yet.

Its other requirements also needs to keeping in mind, an Android device running on Marshmallow or Nougat with at least 1.5GB of RAM and 720p or higher screen resolution. Google Assistant update is a next big thing for all Android users.
