PewDiePie Sponsors Cut Off Its Relationships With Him On Alleged Anti-Semitic Videos

Almost all gamers know PewDiePie and has subscribed his channel on YouTube. He is the most successful YouTuber having highest number of subscribers more than 53 millions, popular for making commentary based videos on the Gameplay. PewDiePie has been alleged for creating an illegal content racial in nature and also posting anti-Semitic videos.

His fans and followers collectively criticizing him for raising the controversial issues and creating discriminated video content on his channel showing signs reading “death to all jews”. Things started going worsen for the PewDiePie when one of his biggest sponsors “Disney” decided to cut off any such sponsorship relationships with him and not showing its ads on the channel.

As per reported by Independent, YouTube has already confirmed the cancellation of showing ads on PewDiePie channel. Not only this, YouTube is also going to cancel a reality show with him; an entertainment program would be created for the all viewers from YouTube side.

“We’ve decided to cancel the release of Scare PewDiePie Season 2 and we are removing the PewDiePie channel from Google Preferred”. Independent is told all this by the YouTube representative.

Google Preferred is such a platform which helps big brands and advertisers contacting the popular YouTubers for showing ads during their videos. Though, its alternatives also exist but Google Preferred is best among all. YouTube sets the special algorithm on these videos sponsored by brands through Google Preferred. These videos appear on the top of the YouTube page and most likely to be clicked in order to promote the brand aggressively.

The bad news for the PewDiePie is, his videos have been removed from Google Preferred, will drop the revenues drastically, he fully violating the guidelines of YouTube. Recently YouTube has introduced new guidelines and emphasis on not creating content on sensitive subjects related to political conflicts, religion discrimination, sexual harassment, natural disasters and tragedies.

In his alleged anti-Semitic posts, people were paid by PewDiePie for holding the signs that read “death to all Jews”.
