It seems like many Reliance Jio subscribers are never going to enjoy its full internet speed because of its increasing demand is affecting on the 4G network performance.
Reliance Jio has also been failed in providing its free SIM on its outlets for all users, this situation is still same even after more than month of its official launch. Recently, a speed test conducted by Ookla ( popular app for internet speed testing ) and currently used by millions of subscribers. This app has shown a result which concludes that Reliance Jio speed has been decreasing at higher rate over the past few weeks.
Reliance Jio is currently giving millions of Indians an internet access at the decent speed considering the overall average speed in India. But, the worrying factor is its Internet speed is going down at the rate of 23% for each month.
According to the Ookla’s results, Reliance Jio was offering 11.31 Mbps speed in last month and now it has been reduced up to 8.77 Mbps. It has been claimed in the Rtn-Asia report that increasing number of its subscribers at the same rate will be reaching on its maximum point where its Internet speed collapses and no one able using free unlimited 4G on it.
It is necessary to mention here that Reliance Jio has still way less number of subscribers than Vodafone and Bharti Airtel. Analysts believes the true examination of its 4G Internet speed would be when they reach at the same size of customer base of its competitors and serving the large number of subscribes while maintaining the speed is the true success of Reliance Jio.
Now, we can surely say that the claim speed of 135 Mbps is a dream and not became a reality yet. The test conducted by Ookla has shown its highest speed is 17.77 Mbps so far which is not even close to what claimed.
